Emergency Bandwagon: Conclave Edition
If you are a blogger, this is a call to arms. If you are just a blog-enjoyer, here are a bunch for you to enjoy.
The Pope has died. A new Pope, his hour come round at last, slouches towards the Chair of Saint Peter to be ensconced. In the meantime, WE BLOGGING.
A new challenge for bloggers: write something in anyway related to clerics (perhaps particularly their hierarchy and rituals?) and post it between when the conclave begins on May 7 and when the smoke emanates from the chimney indicating that a new Pope has been selected. As with past bandwagons, I will try to catch all the posts I can and assemble them after said Pope is picked. Get to writing now because while the conclave begins soon, there is no sure time for it to end! (The Internet tells me that it typically lasts for 3 days).
Around the Blogosphere:
Sometimes I put out a post that I assume will appeal to no one. That’s fine! I am the primary audience for my own blog and all y’all are secondary or even tertiary. I thought this was one of those, but apparently a lot of people shared my belief that Babies in Dungeons could be fun! I would like to thank the many lone-wolf-and-cub media that proliferates these days but also Yoshi’s Island.
Typically, I’ve been congregating the blog posts I round up into nested categories. However, there aren’t many other recent posts on a similar topic as my latest, so instead, and in consideration of the favorite mode of transportation for babies (after ~8 months), I am going to round up a blog of posts about crawling!
